Recipe "water yam pottage"
Water yam pottage is locally known has "Ikokore" it is a delicious Nigerian Dish that is easy to make and does not cost too much to put together. Its ingredients are easy to get and work with. Ikokore is most popular among the ijebu people (Ogun state) and its main ingredients is water yam.
Recipe
1 small tuber of water yam
2 cooking spoons of palm oil
3 glasses of water
Smoked fish
Pepper (blended fresh pepper or chilli powder)
Crayfish
Liver (cooked and diced)
Cooked & Diced Chicken or turkey (optional)
Salt to taste
Seasoning cubes
